update: started the download somewhere near 4pm only for it to be done by around 430, i have let it sit in the background for 3 hours and it still doesnt work

when downloading it gets stuck at 100 percent and stops doing anything. no messages pop up or anything its just the launcher with the bar at 100
You have to wait a couple seconds/minutes.

probabley something with your pc, try running it with a virtual machine or smth
